PT. SAPTA MUTU UTAMA (Sapta Certification) is one of the National Certification Board Non-Government, the main objective is to increase the added value for the company’s organization, which provides certification services of quality management systems, environmental management systems, as well as the management system of health and safety for organizations worldwide , Business services provided by Sapta Certification include Quality Management System Certification ISO 9001, Environmental Management System Certification ISO 14001, and the Management System Certification Occupational Health and Safety OHSAS 18001.

STANDARD

Standard Sapta Certification

ISO 9001:2008

The ISO 9000 family of standards relate to quality management systems and are designed to help organizations ensure they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders (Poksinska et al, 2002 ). The standards are published by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization and available through National standards bodies.

Third party certification bodies provide independent confirmation that organizations meet the requirements of ISO 9001. Over a million organizations worldwide are independently certified, making ISO 9001 one of the most widely used management tools in the world today.

ISO 14001:2004

The ISO 14000 environmental management standards exist to help organizations (a) minimize how their operations (processes etc.) negatively affect the environment (i.e. cause adverse changes to air, water, or land); (b) comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements, and (c) continually improve in the above.

The ISO 14000 family includes most notably the ISO 14001 standard, which represents the core set of standards used by organizations for designing and implementing an effective environmental management system

OHSAS 18000:2007

The OHSAS 18000 standards provide organizations with the elements of an effective safety management system which can be integrated with other management systems and help organizations achieve better occupational health and safety performance and economic objectives.

OHSAS 18001 can be aligned with existing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems. Historically many organizations start with the quality management system ISO 9001, then add the environment management requirements from ISO 14001.
